A freshwater marina with 77 slips having direct access to Puget Sound and 200,000 SF of flex-industrial space set the standard in 1987. It's also where the Costacos Bros reinvented the marketing of a sports hero, a laboratory was established to serve area-wide hospitals, and the Sea Scouts kept their boats. The first-of-a-kind ground lease with the Port of Seattle was restructured to make new investment possible. Built on spec, it was full at completion and later sold to the Port, adding stable income to the Port's property portfolio.
“Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.”
